A Podiatrist is a health care professional who provides comprehensive treatment of the feet and gives advice about foot care and footwear. (Also known as Chiropodist).

The Podiatrist carries out a general assessment of the feet, and a determination of the patient's chief complaint.

If you have any foot problems, foot pain, redness, swelling or any other unusual signs on the feet, or if you are unable to reach to deal with your own feet.

Common foot problems include corns and callous, nails (ingrown, thickened, fungal), excessive sweat, athlete's foot, warts (verrucae), flat feet, heel pain, chilblains, dry skin, cracked heels.
